Hanna Amar’s passion for her clients’ difficult and deeply personal situations stems from her own family’s experiences, which is what has led her to dedicate her career to the practice of Family Law. Hanna Amar is an attorney with extensive trial court experience and a track record of success. She has also reached settlements in many cases through negotiation. She believes it is important to use the skills and knowledge she has acquired to provide her clients with assertive representation, as well as realistic expectations about their cases, in order to help them achieve favorable results.
Hanna Amar was born in Michigan and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree with honors in 2012 from Arizona State University and her Juris Doctor degree from Arizona Summit Law School in 2015. While in law school, Hanna served as the Vice Managing Editor of the Law Review. She also served as a teaching assistant to the Honorable Stephen Gerst.
Hanna handles cases in the areas of divorce, custody, legal decision-making and parenting time, relocation (move-away cases), grandparent and third-party visitation and custody matters, spousal maintenance, child support, and high-asset division, as well as modification actions, and enforcement actions. She has successfully litigated high-conflict cases, as well as reached full agreements through mediation and alternate dispute resolution. In addition to her litigation practice, Hanna is also a Family Law Mediator.
