Renee De Jesus became interested in family law due to her desire to help children and families. Renee’s passion for helping families is what drives her to listen closely, communicate effectively, and strategically advocate for her clients.

Renee was born and raised in Phoenix. She received her undergraduate degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. Later, Renee lived in New York for about 10 years and graduated from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in Queens. During her time at CUNY Law, Renee was a part of the Immigrant & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic (INRC) and Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility (CLEAR) program which is where she grew and sharpened much of her advocacy skills. After graduating, Renee moved back to Arizona to work at the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project (Florence Project).

At the Florence Project, Renee worked as an attorney in the Children’s Program, providing legal representation to protect the rights of Unaccompanied Children. She worked on cases with asylum seekers, minors applying for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and T visa (trafficking survivor) applicants – all of whom were facing deportation.

When Renee is not working on family law cases, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, reading (any genre, but her favorite is historical fiction), and cooking.

Renee brings diligence, empathy, and tenaciousness to each case she handles.

Client Reviews

Very honest

November 2009 I retained Mr. Frank almost two years to represent me in a visitation modification filed by my ex-husband. Mr. Frank quickly and efficiently became familiar with my case and was very honest about all the potential results that could occur. I truly feel that Mr. Frank had my children’s best interests in mind…
